2015 - The Year of Fitness

Back to my fitness way of life.  I was on the right track, took a new job, and fell completely away from it.  You can always list excuses, but none of them really count.  Even injuries you can find a way around it, but I don't even have that as an issue.

I've gone from 190 pounds to 228.  Luckily, the muscle mass I gained doing CrossFit, puts me at a different place at 225+ than when I first started running in 2009.  It's going to be fun to see how quickly the weight falls off, even with all the travel that I will be doing in 2015.

2014 Rebekah started running!!!!  So excited about that.  She has been the only thing to keep me from ballooning even higher.  I look forward to having her as a training partner for this year.

Tonight, she's making Paleo Pumpkin bread.  Can't wait to sample and send along pics.

Taco Omlette

For a new flavor (that I LOVE), try your left over taco meat in your omelette  Add some fresh diced tomatoes for flavor.  This may be my favorite omelette! I love eating these on the train to work! You can't help but smell my breakfast when I open this one up.  :o)

Eating on the Run

As you know, I work in Boston and have lunches from random places.  I have found the most Paleo friendly one for me has been Boloco.  I usually get the Bowl, with a meat, guacamole  salsa and hot sauce. I recently just found out that Panera has a 'hidden' menu.  I have not eaten off this new menut, but plan to.  I also plan on pushing my company to have our lunches picked up there too...  Looking forward to it!

New Leaf

Rebekah is back on the Paleo track! She's been helping me since September, but I think she's sold on the lifestyle. Looking forward to many new recipes! Kelp noodles are on order too. Tonight, fresh pineapple wrapped in bacon and shrimp with salt, pepper and garlic.... It's good to be me. :0)

Ultimate Paleo Take Out

Lunch from 'The Cafe'. I'll look up the name tomorrow... Egg, shaved steak, mushrooms, onions, spinach, carrots, cucumbers on a few leaves of lettuce. AWESOME!!
